Krosslink @ Your Library

Picture

Want to start a Krosslink Chapter at your Library?

The Krosslink program provides a compelling reason for new entrepreneurs, mentors and supporters to come utilize their local libraries.   Join the growing set of libraries that are creating a new buzz in their communities, and expanding their user base, by welcoming, engaging and nurturing these budding entrepreneurs.

The 3 Tenets of Krosslink

1. Krosslink will always be a FREE PROGRAM. Always accessible to all aspiring entrepreneurs in any of our served communities.
2. Krosslink will be hosted only by PUBLIC LIBRARIES.  The program is run by the community.  For the community. Built on a model which can scale across thousands of libraries.
3. Krosslink will rely on LOCAL LEADERSHIP.  A model based on a central governing authority will not scale. Local leadership buying into the vision and making it a reality.

Our commitment:

To provide the tools and resources you need to be successful in setting up your Krosslink program, including the following:
  • Training sessions with everything you need to know to start your own local Krosslink chapter at your library.  This will guide you through all the different stages of setting up your own Krosslink chapter: running monthly events, entrepreneur pitch sessions, group discussions, case studies and expert consulting sessions etc.
  • Our logo to use in all communications about your local Krosslink chapter.
  • Templates for announcement posters and flyers.
  • Templates for collecting emails and running email newsletters.
  • Feature your library chapter on our website.
  • Provide access to your own section on the website.
  • Create publicity for your initiative via our network.
  • Feature and promote your events and announcements on our social channels and newsletters.
  • We will put you in contact with other resources & groups in your area, such as Chamber of Commerce, local SCORE.Org mentors etc.

Your commitment:

The success of the program at your library will depend on your commitment as highlighted in the conditions below.  This ensures that all new participants will be recognized as Krosslink Chapters and will know what to expect. Our conditions are:
  • The library must commit to hosting and running at least one monthly event.
  • Must be run on a voluntary and non-commercial basis and must be called Krosslink Chapters (and not Entrepreneur incubators, workplaces, SMB cafes or any other such name).
  • The Krosslink logo must always be used for publicity and any communications.  The Krosslink logo is copyrighted and cannot be modified.
  • Publicity and communications will, for additional information, always refer to the website Krosslink.org.
The strategy behind these conditions is that we want to build up a network of active Krosslink Chapters around the nation together with you. If you are in agreement with these terms, then let's begin your Krosslink Chapter by submitting the brief form below.
